A different form of curriculum design of some leading grad schools in India helped us a lot while we were beginning to grow fast. The curriculum required that students spend six months working for an organization. We got some of the best talent and the students saw that our growth was rapid yet structured and disciplined.

A good number of those students are growth drivers at Kuliza today.

Bringing Trainees In

With trainees you have a set of bright, energetic, talented but impressionable minds. They present a huge opportunity for organizations to present themselves in front of fresh pass-outs of undergrad and grad programs. Trainees are given to communicating more frequently to their peers in other companies. This is where comparisons between what is perceived as the culture of a corporation are rife.

At Kuliza, we ensure that the trainees feel that they have a college environment after college. They feel that they are with friends. We don’t have to work hard for that. With all the bean bags, easy chairs et al that are anyway a part of our development center, we always have that young and peppy feel about our office.

What is important is that the trainees learn certain things together. Soft skill programs, personality tests, group dynamic exercises and team building assignments are conducted with gusto and lapped up with greater enthusiasm. The practice of learning from your peers and the Kuliza truism that your boss is really your friend, philosopher and guide is brought into action.

Creating Great Corporate Citizens

In molding trainees not only do we creating great resources for us, we also create many Kuliza brand ambassadors. We know that in doing small things right with our trainee and trainee mentorship program, we are shaping the future in a big way.

We believe in creating great technologists, great innovators and great business people from the raw talent that we hire. We have been seeing our efforts materialize. It is immensely satisfying and urges you to go on and do more.

Let us simplify the concept first. Everyone wants to grow. Companies grow as their clients and people grow. We work hard to ensure that our clients see us as valuable partners in their growth.

To be able to work hard and with great efficiency, our teams need to continue to have a sharp intellectual edge. In addition we, as an organization, also need to keep learning from people around us and our business our ecosystem. We also need to find ways in which exception talent outside Kuliza is able to engage with us in a mutually beneficial relationship. This is our talent engagement process.

Engaging Internal Talent

Training in technical and soft skills is the order of the day and we are forever striving to induct the most effective mechanisms of providing better intellectual stimulus to our staff in ways that outclass what our competitors do.

The other major parameter that differentiates us is that team learning is institutionalized in Kuliza. We take pride in being the true and upcoming enterprise that has espoused the concept of enterprise 2.0 and collaborative work and learning in the enterprise.

Our teams learn as they work. We learn from our peers, our reports and our bosses. We learn so that we get better with every passing day.

Engaging External Talent

We learn from all sources and continuously engage with experts in all fields – technical, research, managerial and more. Regular guest lectures, participations in seminars and forums serve as great enablers in this process.

We also strive to give back to the community. We try to tell professionals around us about what we learn while we work and build our clients and Kuliza. We use social media and a on the ground interactions to learn along with a large community of great professionals who work and enjoy growth and creativity in whatever they do.

All of this makes us become better professionals with greater energy. We direct this energy in being growth drivers for our clients.
